2025 Critical Needs Day of Giving

The Pittsburgh Foundation runs an annual Critical Needs Day of Giving that focuses on agencies and organizations that provide for basic needs: food, safety, and security. The foundation offers an incentive fund for various achievements, including being among the top 50 in donations, top 10 peer-to-peer pages, receiving the most gifts, implementing the most improvements, and attracting the most first-time donors, among others. The Foundation limits the agencies to those with small budgets and specifically service-oriented programs.
