WILKINSBURG BOROUGH FUN DAY FOR SENIORS – Future dates to be announced. Every month, typically on a Tuesday starting at 9:30 AM, Wilkinsburg Borough hosts a free, fun day of activities for seniors, featuring a lunch, speakers, classes, activities, a light exercise session and bingo with prizes from local businesses. The events are held in the borough building 2nd Floor Council Chambers, located across from the library. In the past, we’ve invited speakers such as Ed Donovan, president of the Wilkinsburg School District, Marita Garrett, our mayor-elect, or Donn Henderson, our borough manager, who have all been able to speak and take questions regarding borough-related projects and planning. These activity days are well attended and well reviewed.

2nd SATURDAY GRANDMOTHERS AND MOMS GROUP – Meets the 2nd Saturday of every month at Hosanna House at 11:00 AM. A wonderful opportunity to meet with other grandmothers and moms in a supportive atmosphere to share concerns, resources and blessings. Lunch is provided along with raffle prizes and giveaways!
